Sometimes, that is where the work begins.
We also undertake research and development projects, often considered impossible because they fall outside familiar solutions: a new behavior, a difficult integration, a performance constraint, or a use yet to be invented.
We investigate the obstacle, formulate hypotheses, and build prototypes to test them. Experiments establish what is feasible, under what conditions, and at what cost.
The result can open a path to implementation, lead to a better formulation of the problem, or reveal a limit that must be respected.
